SAVAGE DOG FILMS GO BACK TO RELIGION
"Already being in production on the anticipated gothic, horror film RIP CAGE, Savage Dog Films brings you closer to the angels with SERAPHIM"

Århus, Denmark - March 3, 2006. Independent film producers Savage Dog Film & Digitals Ltd. are currently mostly known for their religious and provocative horror film, RIP CAGE. They are now trying to make another production of theirs just as anticipated. "We're standing with a story that I believe could interest just as many people as Rip Cage, if not more", says Savage Dog filmmaker, Lennie Overgaard.

He continues: "Originally, the story was called CROWBARS and was about a group of people being kidnapped and tortured. At some point I came to the conclusion that it was too simple. We had been seeing films like that for as long as I can remember. I had to change it".

He brought an idea to his good friend, Christoffer Rosander, who loved what he heard and together they came up with the final story.

"As a group of teenagers go camping in the woods, they unexpectedly stumble upon a frightening find. A skeleton with an unnatural resemblence of an angel.
As the night falls, everything goes awry and they find themselves waking up with horrible scars everywhere. Body parts are missing and all of their worst nightmares are starting to come true.
Days pass by and their chances of surviving decrease day by day. They are now stuck on front row seats to experience the world come to an unimaginable end. This won't stop until all of the demons have been sent back to hell. An epic battle between good and evil, which side are you on?"

The film is now called SERAPHIM.

"The story really excites me. I have never seen a Danish or Swedish film with this concept before. I think we are all in for a hell of a ride", says Christoffer Rosander.

Lennie Overgaard will co-direct with Christoffer Rosander based on Lennie Overgaard's screenplay. Shooting begins in June and Savage Dog has slated the production for a late 2006 release. So far, only Lisa Jasmin and John Falk have signed on to take two of the four leading roles in the film.

Savage Dog Films and CallieWops will co-produce SERAPHIM with Savage Dog's visual effects division, Savage Dog Digitals, handling all of the digital magic that this film involves.
